We have grown in a society where a lot of people are sooooooo focused and obsessed with good grades and education…
Is this wrong?
Absolutely not, however, education isn’t everything.
I was listening to an audio the other day (by Jim Rohn, I think) here he said that attitude counts much more if you want to succeed.
Why is attitude more important than education for succeeding?
The answer is very simple:
You can have all the knowledge and education in the universe, and if you don’t have the “right” attitude to use it/back it up, it will all be in vane!
On the other side of the coin if you aren’t that “knowledgeable” and you have the “right” attitude you can become an invincible force that nothing will come between you and your goal…
What is the “right” attitude?
How long is a piece of string?
Attitude varies from person to person, here, I will list some attitudes that successful people have:
- They have integrity,
- The are punctual,
- They see solutions, no problems,
- They are learners (earners are learners), they know they don’t know it all,
- They are disciplined,
- They are creative,
- They are dedicated,
- They communicate their needs,
- They have a vision, and
- They set goals!
Having all the knowledge in the world won’t help you as much as having the right attitude.
If you want to be really successful, sometimes is more important to work in the development of the “right” attitude than gathering all the knowledge in the world without applying it (your attitude in life!).
Till next time,
