How bad do you want to succeed?

I want this. I want that.

If only I could do this. If only I could do that.

When I do this. When I do that.

We seem to be obsessed with things that have to be done even before we get started in our journey toward out goal.

Fundamentally it all comes down to one simple question:

How bad do you want to succeed?

How bad do you want to make more money?

How bad do you want that holiday of a lifetime?

How bad do you want to lose weight?

When you are serious, you get started immediately.

Guess what?

When you are not serious, you find all the excuses under the sun and give the power to get started away and put it onto something or someone else.

People talk all the time, talkers are talkers and that is fine. They seem to live their life and dreams in “somedayland”.

Others, don’t even tell anyone, they just get to work and grow an empire, take their partners on a holiday of a lifetime and lose the weight.

Why is that?

Their commitment and integrity is everything. They do what has to be done even when noone is watching, they get to work and get dirty to make their dreams come true.

Rome was not built in a day, nor a goal will be achieved in one day.

The way to do it is one day at the time, consistently, honouring your word.

It really is that simple.

So, how bad do you want to succeed?

Be honest! No stories.

What is stopping you from achieving your goal?

I would love to hear your comments in the comments section.

Till next time,

  1. I have realized in my time on Earth thus far, the ability to succeed in life has to be truly focused on what YOU want. It has to be self-realized, self-taught, and involve self-awareness. It’s all about the self. We can’t achieve true success when it is done for other reasons! Thank you for sharing!
